Kidney Car
This
national program encourages people to donate old or unwanted vehicles to the foundation.
In British Columbia.
Vehicles donated to Kidney Car are picked up – free of charge – throughout Metro Vancouver, Sunshine Coast and Vancouver Island, as well as Hope, Merritt, Kamloops, Kelowna, Osoyoos, Penticton, Summerland, Vernon, Salmon Arm, Terrace, Trail and Prince George. All donated vehicles are recycled according to B-car and ARA environmental standards.
In return, the donor receives a tax receipt, and the satisfaction of knowing they have helped protect the environment and fight kidney disease.
Through these programs, ABC Recycling is removing used metal from the environment while creating income for The Kidney Foundation to reduce the burden of thousands of Canadians living with or affected by kidney disease.
